Karo is straight corn syrup. Simple sugar. Nothing more. Not much of a substitute for Mothers milk, IMO.
Mmmm you are correct but that is the purpose of the Karo
the suckling child will crave a sweet liquid, similar to the mother’s milk. People knew a thing or two about babies before the scientifical canned formula came along.
