Now - how about today’s ridiculous Daily use and COSTS for packaged diapers. I remember girl friends getting a gift for 3 months of Diaper Service as a Shower Gift. So jealous I was. Only drawback I remember for cloth diapers is “you always knew which house had a baby in it — similar to today knowing who’s got an indoor cat”.
All 4 of my kids grew up in cloth.
Last one out of cloth in 1989/90.
