Reminds me of the 3 slabs of rock with spiral behind them found in Chaco Canyon, in NM. It predicted precisely the Spring and Fall Equinox (Vernal & Autumnal) and the Solstices (Summer & Winter). Still works. Last I heard it is not possible to see any more, they closed the site because of vandalism.

Partner, these two (2) seasons-the spring and the fall are very important to our farmers since it tells them to start preparing to grow the crops and the autumn is the time to start of harvest time.

Of course, we know that it is the onset of winter.

The farmers these days gave gotten very ingenious by puting in these plastic/permanent covers over their crops to protect them from the ravages of winter.

Yes. Agree. And agree that it was very important to know when to plant. And it is now. It does change, year to year.
