“You will own nothing, and you will be happy.”
The mantra of the so-called Fourth Industrial Revolution for the globalist elites at the World Economic Forum has always been a challenging concept for most Americans to fully grasp. Our nation was built on the precepts of freedom, capitalism, and property ownership, so when the WEF’s mantra creeps into a conversation it is often met by scowls and consternation.
Well, not everyone balks. Some fall in line like good little lemmings. Neo-Marxists in America adopted the WEF’s slogan faster than the Che Guevara t-shirts they used to love. Those were replaced by George Floyd t-shirts, which were exchanged for “Get Vaxxed and LOVE IT” apparel, but I digress.
Apple is rumored to be making a move towards hardware rental. On the surface, this might appear to be an innocuous shift in business models that will help the mega-corporation print more dollars (or yuans, actually) by getting as many of their fans as possible to send them monthly fees. In reality, this signals a bear-hug embrace of the WEF’s beloved rent-everything-and-worry-about-nothing paradigm.

From each according to their ability.
No happiness in return.
I don’t know how they are making this work with different Carriers, lots of the carriers want to help support their customers, it seems this would get in the way
Oh yeah… I’m sure plenty of folks have plans for Apple and their woke execs in the Great Reset too.
You won’t even have a choice about renting an iPhone either. They will just deduct the monthly fee from your digital credit account. If you choose not to use the iPhone, that’s your choice, but you still get to pay for it.
And it will be mandatory to carry a tracking phone on you at all times.
With the monthly payments I’ve been making the past 2years, I thought I WAS renting it!
Don’t want to rent a government approved censored iPhone? We have locked your accounts because of a low social credit score. Should you reconsider, please report to your local re-education camp for additional instruction.
Most people don’t own there iPhones today. They take them out on two-year plans typically before they are paid off. Then they take out a two-year plan on the latest model. Thus, like leasing a car, they never actually own their iPhones.
Great image.
Go somewhere without your phone sometime. It’s liberating. iPhones cost too much already and are not really necessary for day to day living.
Centurylink will be thrilled when everyone goes back to land lines.
The "Pi Phone" from Elon Musk looks a lot more interesting than any of the iPhones that have been peddled recently.
This and the coming digital currency, what could possibly go wrong for us peons?
And car companies are thinking about charging subscription fees for options that you have on your car I’m not paying higher rental fee for an iPhone

“You will own nothing, and you will be happy.”
You notice it is not “We will own nothing and we will be happy”.
It will be Neo-feudalism:
“ The concept of neo-feudalism may focus on economics, though it is not limited to it. Among the issues claimed to be associated with the idea of neo-feudalism in contemporary society, are: class stratification, globalization, neoconservative foreign policy, mass immigration and illegal immigration, open borders policies, multinational corporations, and “neo-corporatism”.

Exactly. And they trade in their old iPhone for a “discount” on the new model. That’s what I do anyways and I’m sure I’m a fairly common customer. Usually after two years my phone is pretty beat up and I’m a sucker for the latest and greatest. I think I’m on my fourth iPhone now, a 13 Pro Max.
