The swab can only detect the presence of CORONA virus in your nasal passages.
It is NOT a diagnostic tool.
This is why I would recommend taking an inhaler (H2O2 + AG or ZN) and using it right before they swab you.
This combination breaks up the lipid envelope, deconstructing the virus into its RNA parts.
The swab is like looking at a car windshield for bird poop to determine if there are birds \inside\ your car.
Thank you for that distinction. Even at 45 cycles, there was no trace of coronavirus in my nasal passages (they swabbed both). I assume if it wasn’t in either nasal passage, it wasn’t in my body either, but I could be wrong about that.
