I drive an electric car on long trips sometimes and it takes a bit of planning. The planning part, for me, is the fun part. The plugshare app gives details and current status of charging stations, but you should also have a backup plan. From her video it looks like she did not plan at all and didn’t even know the difference between a level 2 and a level 3 charger.
Also, I know that my car is not saving the environment. I bought it because I like the quietness, the fast response and tight handling and especially the low maintenance with no radiator, no transmission, no timing belt, no oil changes, no alternator etc... and we save a little money on gas.
