*The Fiesta part is very important, they’re the “good” dishes, used only for company and holidays, except when Mommy’s sick. When our boys saw the teapot and me heading for the couch in the family room, they knew they were on their own till Dad got home.

The older Fiestaware pottery used radioactive glaze. I have personally tested a friends mothers’ Fiestaware with a geiger counter. It was VERY interesting!
