Does using Siri drain my battery?
This feature is an unnecessary battery drain if you don’t really use it, mostly because your iPhone will be listening for “Hey Siri” all the time. To turn it off, go to Settings > Siri & Search and turn Listen for “Hey Siri” off.M

I have the Hey Sir I feature turned off. It’s when I actually dictate that I see the rapid battery drain. 1 text = 10-20% battery drop.

What else can I try?

I close open windows daily, turn the phone off and on daily. Didn’t make a difference but I still do it.

I have cell data turned off. Almost all the options for Siri, all suggestions turned off. With in each app, I have all the Siri options turned off.

I try not to dictate, but it’s a pain not being able to. Then I really don’t need a smartphone. I can have back my little flip phone. At least the battery lasted all day.
