A Missouri mama is facing jail time after she admitted to stealing her estranged daughter’s identity in order to secure student loans, enroll in college — and pursue her sexy co-ed fantasies.
The fraudster even started seducing unsuspecting men in their early 20s, who had no idea that Oglesby was almost two decades older than she said she was.
She applied for financial aid and received $9,400 in federal student loans, $5,920 in Pell Grants, and $1,863 in finance charges.

In my day there were lots of Vets and ex lumberjack types——late twenties, early 30’s, high mileage guys. My own buds were all older than me. Age-wise , at least, she would have fit right in with that crowd-—but it seems like the college crowd is way younger now. So, yeah, likker might be involved?

My mother, when she was 40, could easily pass for 20 and did.. She and my sister were thought to be sisters constantly. 18 years apart. Still did when she was 50 to 55. Of course my sister had aged too, but both still looked much younger than their actual ages, and most people thought they were sisters. Both never wore make up, a little lipstick now and then, that’s it, maybe a hint of powder in a formal situation.. I’ve had to pull my ID before and prove I was over 40...it runs in the family.
But this woman could not pull it off. She might pass for younger than 40, but I doubt she could pull off claiming to be younger than 30. I bet she told them she always looked older than she really was.
Maybe she heard some guys want to study abroad.
I wonder if the guys just didn’t care, that she appeared older than she claimed. And if she was willing to, you know what, they didn’t hold obvious fabrications against her.
I bet she enjoyed herself.
Reminds me of a story a cousin told us many years ago- she was in labor in the hospital, and in the next room was a single woman having a hard time with her labor and being very vocal. Being a Catholic hospital, nuns were assisting the medical personnel. She heard one of them say to the single mom-to-be,
“YOU HAD YOUR FUN! NOW PAY FOR IT!”
I hope this nut pays for what she did to her daughter.
That may be the case too. I know when I was 20 I didn’t mind getting real friendly with a woman twice my age, had a 31 year old girlfriend when I was 19, dated a woman who was 45 when I was 25...
As a former 20’s-ish boy-child-man, I’ll say I wouldn’t have cared as long as she was willing.
