FReepers - who has had COVID?
Me | 11/30/21 | Me

Who has had COVID-19 here?

I also figure it’d be nice to have a good idea of how COVID affected you all. What was it like? Sort of a survey so we can get a solid idea of what it was.

Perhaps we could have a sort of list of survivors here. Possibly as ping to help organize any protests or especially those who have natural immunity.

When did you have the disease?

I’m scared to get an antibody test now, and find it’s gone! After people even here stating they got it twice!

But, I’ve heard that the real key is T-cells....don’t know if there are tests for that!

Not as many do it as the current-infection types.

But, we have a local (wonderful) walk-in urgent care franchise that does them. My hubby and son verified their status by going there.

Another question for the “science” types - how many of COVID patients did NOT get counted, because they never current-tested or got Dx from doc?

My hubby and son probably don’t count, though they later had antibody! But my mom probably did, since she had a test at a doctor’s, and I had a “free” one a couple days later.

How many millions of people don’t count in their “recovered” stats, because they didn’t PCR/current test or Dx?

No problem. I wasn’t as sick as the doctors thought I was. I just had trouble getting enough breath. ;-).

I think my immunosuppressants HELPED. No cytokine storms, no clotting, none of the secondary issues that arise from inflammation that kill people. My immunosuppressants suppress inflammations.

But the action of the immunosuppressants is a doble-edged sword. On the one hand, they suppress immunological over-reaction. But on the other hand, I heal more slowly. So, it took a long time for my lungs to clear sufficiently to get me off O2.

Oh, I didn’t mean the medicine hurt, I meant the fact you are immunosuppressed!

This is the story everyone needs to hear and I’ll try to condense it as much as possible.

My best friends normally healthy 83 year old mother just had Covid. She didn’t bother to go to urgent care til day 6. They sent her home with no medication. She finally called my girlfriend to say she was really sick.

We have discovered a boutique doctor in a town an hour away who will give the HCQ and Ivermectin protocol. He gives you the medicine because most pharmacies won’t fill the prescription. By now Mom is really sick on day 7. I told my friend don’t take her to the ER or they will put her on oxygen then the ventilator and she’ll die. We are all in North Atlanta suburbs by the way.

My friend went over to the ER to speak to the triage nurse who said all they would do is give her oxygen. So they bundled her up and drove to this doctors office where he came on a Sunday and he and his nurse worked on Mom for three hours as if she was in the ER. He pumped her full of Ivermectin, antibiotics, steroids and inhalers. Finally he said to take her home and make sure she kept on the drugs and not to take her to the ER or they would kill her because in his words they are a bunch of idiots. It was touch and go for two days but she is finally OK.

First moral of the story is don’t be a dumbazz and go for treatment right away. Demand therapeutics if you are having symptoms. They will send you home and let you get sicker til you go to the ER where they finish you off. Its hard to believe we have come to this in the US. My own doctor told me HCQ and Ivermectin are worthless. To his credit he is prescribing regeneron infusion and oral steroids but if I do get covid I’m going straight to this doctor a one hour plus drive from me.

We think we had it in August ... that's the only time -- the ONLY time -- we've been sick at all since the Fauci Flu began ... and I travel all over California and Nevada regularly on business ... haven't worn a mask since shortly after the "two weeks to flatten the curve" in May 2020 when I made a personal vow to live my life as normally as possible ... the way I choose to live it, and have I've never stopped shaking hands or hugging people, even new acquaintances (except clients, of course! ... they're not into hugging ... thankfully).

As far as I know, I have not had it. My oldest great grand daughter’s step Mom had it, but if GGDaughter caught it, she had no symptoms.

The grandkids and GGkids were here in March. Three days later, I had a low grade fever and was kinda tired. I took some extra Vit. C, D3, zinc, Quercetin, melatonin and went to bed. Woke up 8 hrs. later with no fever and feeling ok.

I haven’t had the flu in decades. However, I did have a variant of the Asian Flu the year after the Hong Kong Flu while I was in College. That was the worst I ever had. Started with a mild tickle in my throat. By afternoon I was having difficulty breathing. Collapsed in a student lounge. My car pool took me to the Doctor.

I had Bronchitis. It took months before I was back to feeling normal. Even then, I was hacking every morning. Took a long time before chest congestion was totally gone.

I’m just hoping that I have sufficient cross reactivity that I don’t get RONA. I am taking OTC supplements as outlined by FLCCC no ivermectin, but I have a stash of Quercetin.

I also have some Black Cumin Seed extract - which is similar in action to Ivermectin, but needs no RX. I haven’t found anyone in our area that writes RX for Ivermectin.

My Dr. said he uses Vit. C, if symptoms are mild. And arranges for the local ambulance to come to your house and administer monoclonal antibodies which I would qualify for.

One of my points with my experiences is that by and large, we had NO precautions. None of this “take these supplements and medications”.

Yet, except for my MIL, we were all fine.

No pre-cautions taken and no therapeutics used.

MIL technically had several conditions, and was very obese. Despite those issues, she seemed very healthy and active.

I think the wife and I had it in January 2020. We did not get tested.

She got it first, I got it within a week.

Major symptom was an unproductive cough such as I have never experienced before. It lasted weeks. I had a loss of taste. I also later on had COVID toe.

This was very early on in the pandemic and known treatments or vaxxine were not available.

Later we were quarantined for 14 days because we had played cards with someone who came down with COVID. We were not tested, didn’t get sick.

We are NOT vaxxinated and NEVER WILL BE.

I had it the week of Halloween 2020. I was out of work for a week-their choice. It felt like a weak ass sinus infection. I had some congestion and a runny nose for 3-4 days. No fever or loss of smell or taste or trouble breathing. In fact I was being treated for a sinus infection when I was eventually tested because my oldest son had tested positive and had been around me. I had been taking vitamins B,C,D3 and zinc for at least a year already and I finished off Amoxicillin and a prednisone pack for sinus infection.

My daughter, son, grandson and daughters fiance all caught it that week. Daughter lost taste/smell for one day, laid on the couch in my home office all day and took Tylenol. Next day she was fine with smell/taste back. Son had congestion for one day, lost smell/taste and took 5 months to get back. Daughters fiance said it felt like a nasty booger in his upper nose for 24 hrs, lost smell/taste and it finally returned this last summer. My grandson who was three at the time never slowed down and was like the energizer bunny with a nuclear reactor maxed out. My wife slept in the same bed, used the same bathroom etc... has yet to catch it...

This last week my youngest son caught it, they offered him infusion and he declined, two days later he was back to normal. Congestion, little cough and sore throat. I was tested as was my wife this last Sunday for work purposes-negative. He went back to work this morning.

The antibody tests require a blood draw at a medical lab. The tcell test also requires a blood draw at a lab and it is then sent to https://www.t-detect.com/

I just got my antibody test results back, positive 13 months after initial infection and no jab. God’s creation doing its thing, thank you Lord!

I'm accusatory???

Fauci, et.al., have SARS-C0V-2/C0VID-19 patents back in 1999, what's up with that?  It has been long planned, Fauci even said it back before Trump was inaugurated!

He’s not making up anything, and neither you?

If no sicientist ever fulfilled Koch's Postulate on SARS-C0V-2, neither you can run Serology Test nor Antibody Test nor Antigen Test, hello?

Oh, the other poster here said Koch's Postulate not relevant because virus was formulated long time ago.  Oh yeah, formulated with patents back from 1999, what's up with that.

How can we get t-cell tests? I assume they’re harder to come by than antibody. I mean, somewhere that will take the blood and send it.

Thanks. Concern is it says “up to 10 months” (does that mean they can stop existing after 10 months?). Mine was almost exactly a year now. Too long?

SARS 1 tcells are still present almost 20 years later. SARS 2 will no doubt be similar. It doesn’t mean you can’t get sick. It just means if you get it again your body knows how to fight it.

Are antibodies different that way? Do they actually “immunize” as in you cannot actually get sick?

Your image nonexistent like the C0VID-19 nonexistent!  C0VID they were planning back in 1984?
