Who has had COVID-19 here?
I also figure it’d be nice to have a good idea of how COVID affected you all. What was it like? Sort of a survey so we can get a solid idea of what it was.
Perhaps we could have a sort of list of survivors here. Possibly as ping to help organize any protests or especially those who have natural immunity.
My mom got it and then it spread to the combined households. Also know other relatives who had it. My MIL got it right after we did and died of it, Jan 6. Of all things.
I myself had small annoying individual cold symptoms each day until about 3 days out when it was just pure fatigue for a week. I got tested early but did not even see a doctor. No hospital.
I had it in August.
Sore throat, worst headache I ever had and runny nose/stuffed sinuses.
No fever.
Took ivermectin day 3 and by day 5 was over everything but the fatigue, which lasted another week.
I had the origional Fauci-flu back in Feb of ‘19 before it became cool, got the Delta from some pipe fitters and electricians earlier this year that I worked with. Have tested positive for covid antibodies. First wave was just a common cold, second was only chest congestion and phlegm. Im still not vaxed, amd never will be. F you Fauci!
Had it last Thanksgiving - had to stop running for three days.
Not for sure (wasn’t tested because there wasn’t a test) but I think i had it Dec. 2019. Just fatigued and stayed in bed. No fever. Nothing compared to the Hong Kong flu (I thought I was going to die). The HK flu I got fever, vomiting and I can’t remember what all. it was bad.
My family had it in April. My younger son & my wife were hospitalized with pneumonia. They were on oxygen but not on respirators.
My older son and I were completely asymptomatic. He and I were recently tested for antibodies, to make sure we really had COVID. We are both chock full of antibodies against COVID.
I’m on the Marik Protocol and added weekly HCQ and NAC. Tested positive for the antibodies last month. This means I had it and didn’t even know it. The protocol works.
Nov of ‘20. Hubby brought it home from a new job where masks were mandated.
He had a fever, I did not. Adult kids also infected (my oldest was pregnant). 1 yr old grandson had the sniffles for a day.
For me it was a bad headache, fatigue and loss of taste/smell. I have had worse allergy attacks
We treated with zinc, quercitin and homeopathic remedies
You got it again? That concerns me.
Not that I’m really upset about it, but info like that is indeed ammo for the COVIDiots.
Had both shots in April and got COVID in Sept. Wasn’t bad. Only had discomfort for a couple of days. Not even close to as bad as I expected. Can’t say the same for my flu shot I got a month ago. I was down for almost a week, got better for a couple of days, then I had a full on relapse for about another week.
So sorry they went to the hospital!
Glad they got out? Pneumonia can be awful. MIL got to that level and that killed her.
My DH had pneumonia years ago, and while he was definitely fatigued by his bout of COVID, he says it still was nothing like the pneumonia he had that I had to take him to the Hospital for.
Had it last October. One week of fever up and down and being wiped out. One week of nausea and wiped out. One or two weeks of wiped out. No congestion or coughing or anything like that in the lungs. I did take Ivermectin at the beginning .
I had it a about a month ago. I couldn’t tell what it was at first. I just started getting really tired on a Friday afternoon and kind of short of breath.
After that I was just fatigued and nauseous for a solid 10-12 days. Missed a bunch of work (self employed which makes it even worse) because of the fatigue. I’d usually feel fine when I’d get up and after about 45 minutes would be exhausted, nauseous, and would just go lay down the rest of the day.
All in all, I have definitely felt worse and been sicker, but never experienced anything where I just wanted to lay down and rest so much. It was strange. I’m 45, 5’10, 165lb, in good health, no comorbidities or anything. I recovered fine and one day it was just gone. Ot did drag out a lot longer than I thought it would though. Either way, it’s over and I’m moving on. I’m tired of all this covid crap. I just want to live my life and be left alone. Most people I know think the same.
Wife and I got it a year ago just before Thanksgiving. Could not taste or smell anything for a week, which ruined the holiday meals. However, we got off lucky. A week later, I then got shingles. Not sure that’s related, but I figured it was due to a weakened immunity.
The ringing in my ears from the head congestion was really loud. Had a headache for a week non-stop. Had a fever that felt like it would never quit. until it finally did.
Tested positive for the antibodies more than a year later, and I'm of the opinion that the immunity is durable and long lasting. I'm immune system compromised due to a genetic condition and am in a study that checks my antibodies every two months. Last check: still have the antibodies.
Covid wasn’t around in February of 19. A lot of people think they had covid when they didn’t.
Without a positive antibody test, many confuse normal colds/flu with covid.
I’ve posted about it a few times in varying levels of detail. My mask-fanatic daughter shared it with the family in December. Mine as the worst— a couple of days fever, Migraine headaches, fatigue and joint pain for me. Breathing deeply kind of burned for several days. I personally know about sixty people who have had it since April 2020. Three of them had some difficulty (one is 79 and has several conditions, one a late 50s diabetic, one 40s overweight and inactive). The last person I know is a vaccinated friend had it a month ago— his wife had it in 2020Q4 but he didn’t catch it then— and has no idea where/when he got it. He thought it was a sinus infection and as up and down for a couple of days.
Also- I’m early fifties and in good health. Got the jabs in March (international travel) and have no intention of getting any boosters.
Pretty sure I had it same time-frame, Christmas day is when the symptoms started.
I had every symptom other than loss of taste.
The coughing was relentless for 5 days, the fatigue was like the worst pneumonia I have ever had, took 3 bottles of expectorant cough syrup before I could produce anything, then the floodgates opened on that.
I was pretty sick for about two weeks, still have a runny nose to this day that seems like rhinitis and I believe it made my psoriasis/psoriatic arthritis worse.
It was rough.
Wife and I had it in January 2021. I had sniffles for a few days. Lost sense of taste for about four months. Was 69yo, in good health. No aches, no fatigue. I had decided to trust my God-given immune system because I was…and still am…in good health. No plan to get the jab.
Have been tested twice for antibodies. Still had a high level nine months after initial infection.
