I would love to find something that will fix my asthma, arthritis, and lower my cholesterol. It's something I still think about doing but just can't pull the trigger on those high doses. I see the articles you talk about and find just as many that say don't do it.
You can find anything online to verify what a person thinks so getting to the truth is difficult.
I got brave the other day and popped 500mg just to see what would happen. I flushed but had no other symptoms. No melatonin. The funny thing is, the leg/ankle/foot that I hurt 3 years ago has a circulation problem and arthritis. I flushed more in the lower leg, ankle, and foot than anywhere. I almost had a raised rash there but nowhere else. I flushed there more than in my face. LOL I never at any time felt like I was in trouble and all I did was flush.
I do agree with you that the junk they put in Niacin to stop the flush probably makes the others more dangerous than the Nicotinic Acid version.
You gonna have to dig deeper than the first answer on a derp search engine. [They] do not want you to know about niacin, even though they do. That’s why they make so many drugs (like statins) with fake niacin.
Your favorite white coat didn't learn this in med school. They aren't taught this stuff. I know because I've been there. PS, if there were any health issues with high dose niacin, I'd be in big trouble. I've taken as much as 9g per day for 2 weeks with only positive effects.
