Why did he break down on stand? Is he guilty?

From personal experience, I’d say that a the boy is suffering from PTSD.

I really don’t see what purpose was served by having him take the stand. He’s already coasting to a win - why put him through it?

I agree with you. The defense should have just let the prosecution witnesses sink the prosecutions case.
Just take the win and get on with life. And the judge is doing a great job, in my estimation.

You have either forgotten, or never knew, but taking another human’s life takes a severe toll on a person.

I have no regrets about the persons I’ve killed (legally, mind you, in a foreign land).

But I still wake up very unhappy, generally around Veteran’s Day or some military-related event I’ve had to go to.

It sucks.

One reason was to demonstrate the prosecutors were eerily similar in incompetence to Marsha White and Chris Darden (of baby justice fame).

My heart was breaking for him when I saw him crying. My prayer is that he is exonerated and that this nightmare ends.

Due to the fact that for normal good people like Kyle Rittenhouse, killing another person or two is a very traumatic experience and the corrupt prosecutor made him relive probably the most emotional experience that young man will ever face.

For good or bad, a comparison will drawn to the weeper for the prosecution.

Oh yeah. People who are innocent have no problem at all when they’re being politically persecuted by the Democrats.

Actually it was Marcia Clark. But you're absolutely right on the substance. I'll just be glad to see Kyle walk free.

Obvious PTSD and he’s not a sociopath like the azzholes he defended himself against.

Don’t count your wins before they’re announced by the jury. Which can find him guilty regardless of facts.

Rittenhouse's life was permanently altered that night; he will carry this for the rest of his life.

I believe Kyle being on the witness stand and crying about what he's been through will help him later sue, the city, the state, the rioters, and the Dim press who encouraged the rioters for meeelyuns and meeelyuns.

20 years from now we should vote for Kyle for president with Nicholas Sandman as his press secretary.

Well, the prosecutor came across as an enormous anal sphincter and he alienated the judge even more than before.
