From that article you gave raising the frequency from mHZ to gHz increases the the decibels by about 40 times what they where. Given radiation power goes down almost with 4th power of distance. It’s not the towers its the phone you have pay attention to. Given it’s 40 times as powerful as it was at the same distance.
