I shot most of that 10K in the many sand pits near Pensacola Fla. Using a simple target load of 3.2gr Bullseye and I casted my own bullets. Cases lasted almost forever. After each shooting session I would collect as many bullets I could find that rain would bring to the surface, to add to the lead pot for the next casting session. So primers were my largest expense. So each round cost me less than .22 shells and that was back in the late 70’s.
