Kareem’s demanding of vaccines should be seen as a form of anti-americanism and should be condemned

He’s never been much of an American anyway.

NBA great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar writes in Jacobin arguing that athletes like Kyrie Irving aren’t making a “personal choice” by refusing the COVID vaccine — they’re jeopardizing the public health of all through their platforms.

He may have been great on the court but perhaps he got hit in the head with too many basketballs. This is just another reprobate coming out to be noticed. This is getting more than old.

This is what I dont get. At this point Kyrie is only endangering himself. Vaccinated folks can get and pass it ,rendering them no better than an unvaxxed person from a purely transmissibility standpoint. That was how the vax was sold-gonna end covid, like polio. Didnt work out that way...so now vaxxed advocates are left with “at least we’ll have a mild case”. Okay fair enough. Why do you care about Kyrie? Because Kareem here is trying to gaslight people into thinking you will stop the transmission if your are vaxxed and that is simply not true based on data. Kareem is a disingenuous racist.
