We were told today we will have to have the swab test or the antibody test. Having my blood drawn every week because I don’t want the swab. We have to drive ourselves, on our own time, to be tested before work.
Such a waste of time, gas, and blood. It’s coercion, plain and simple.

Yes that was the basis of my question. However, CheshireTheCat upstream made a brilliant and simple solution - purchase my own swabs instead of using the ones in the kit. The stories I heard were that swabs in CV test kits were intentionally contaminated, so this is a good way to avoid that.

Antibody test can be done at any Kroger’s and takes a finger sticked couple tiny drops of blood in a test kit; takes 15 minutes for results. Costs $25.
Does work reimburse you for the cost if you give them the receipt?
I wouldn’t want anyone sticking a swab up my nose.
