I was in Berlin years ago consulting. The Company one evening had a beer garden party with sausages, kraut ect. and beer all you can eat.
Wow was that good.
I did a lot of business in Germany in the mid 80s. The executive lunches that were brought in were wonderful. Then the fraulein’s with trays full of cigarettes, cigars, schnapps, and brandy would show up after lunch offering their goodies. The Japanese had similar arrangements for business lunches in Tokyo.
