Okay, I thought about it a little bit. In terms of manufactured hysteria, Covid is the clear winner. I'll grant you that.
In terms of actual health consequences, up to death, the obesity epidemic is MUCH worse than Covid. Obesity is a contributing factor leading to deaths from diabetes, cancer, heart disease, strokes, and yes, Covid. Since obesity degrades the immune system, there probably aren't many causes of natural death that aren't magnified by obesity.
I’m sure it’s a combination of bad testing (false positives), lying about the numbers and people getting it from the clot shots. The democrats politicized a cold to stay in power so they are going to hold onto this for as long as they can.

In another discussion group I was making the same point you were about obesity, and the provaxx crowd admitted that what really mattered to them was not death statistics but whether the disease is contagious.
This is bizarre since colds and the flu are contagious.

None of them are neighbors of Sweden. So you are using the liberal tactic of obfuscation. The article SPECIFICALLY mentions neighboring countries of Sweden, because it would be a more valid comparison.
I am quite familiar with Sweden. My wife of 23 years was from Sweden. Sweden is nothing like Italy or Spain or France. Sweden is sparsely populated. My wife grew up in a town called Ringvatnet, and one can drive for miles around and not see any people. Therefore comparison is valid only with similar countries like Norway for example. Never with Italy which is totally different.
Good talking points, EXCEPT OBESITY & HERAT DISEASE are not remotely contagious. People fear anything contagious which they can acquire without their fault.
President Trump (read my tag line) lost for one reason much more than any other reason in 2020. He said “covid is just another flu, and will disappear with warm weather”. If only Trump had said “I feel your pain”, he would have won in a landslide.
On the other hand Biden had locked himself in the basement. People construed that as Biden taking covid more seriously. Millions of people, right or wrong, switched to Biden, because covid scared them more than leftwing ideology of Biden.
I voted enthusiastically for our Florida governor in last election. And I will again vote for him in the next election. I hope and pray DeSantis does not repeat Trump’s political mistake regarding covid.
Somewhere on my list of things to do is to re-read the book Crisis and Leviathan. As I recall, the crises are amplified to create fear far in excess of the real threat. Whether it's a contagious disease, or a financial crisis, or the danger to the country from Islamic terrorism, the real threat is pale in comparison to the image created by the politicians and media. They intentionally scare the hell out of people. When the population is sufficiently scared, the public demands that something be done. They'll give up some of their liberties to feel safe again. Once the crisis is past, the government backs off a little bit from the most draconian measures, but they never restore the country to where it was before. From one "crisis" on to the next, the people gradually give up their freedom. And in reality it isn't just giving up their freedoms, they're actually demanding that the government take those freedoms away.
I had CV-19. Recovered from it. Dr said I should get the jab. Told him no. Then I asked him to test me for the antibodies. Next day the nurse called to tell me I tested positive for the antibodies. I’m done. No need for the Jab.

My son & I tested positive in April, but neither of us had symptoms. (My other son and my wife had a really rough time with COVID).
I asked him if it would be wise to get an antibody test. He said it would. We both have plenty of antibodies. He said we don’t need the vaccine.
Although your doctor may be thinking additional anti-bodies from vaccine would be additional insurance to fight the virus if it invades again.
