Not sure why me some random dude on Free Republic seems to be the only person connecting these obvious dots for these breakthrough deaths. She got vaccinated in February. And caught Covid last month. Both Pfizer and Moderna say their vaccines wear off after six months. You do the math.
Copd, hypertension, diabetes.
If she got it in Feb its efficacy likely waned based on current data also we need to know what vaccine these folks have. Simply saying your fully vaccinated doesn’t say much. J&J is already less effective to start with.

NO. Not really-certainly not in the sense of the general understanding of a vaccine. It is NOT a traditional vaccine based on an inactivated virus, and it is “leaky” ie non-sterilizing - meaning virus can still spread.
The existing vaccines are worthless for building durable immunity since the data is that the nucleocapsid section, which the vaccines do not code, is where most of the pre-existing resistance against serious disease resides. Natural infection can materially strengthen that immunity.

A study reported in Nature Immunology, Jan. 2021 shows that while the “spike” facilitates entry into the cell there is evidence that it is, standing alone, pathological — that is, it causes disease in the human body without the rest of the virus.
“This T cell-mediated immune response is even more important as studies on humoral immunity to SARS-CoV-1 provided evidence that antibody responses are short-lived and can even cause or aggravate virus-associated lung pathology”

What’s interesting about FR is its many subcultures. And there are many related to the vaxes/vaccines. For convenience and subjectivity, I’ll use the canonical term, “vax”.
The trends I’ve noticed:
- the vax favorable posts are midday
- the vax negative posts are evening/overnight
- the FR medical team chimes in together then disappears for a bit
- the vax favorable stats arrive in clusters
- the vax negative stats are fragmented.
And there are more. The common denominator, however, is persuasion. And event that has its breakdown... lol.

The family does not know where Tracy caught COVID-19.
They believe it’s possible she was exposed to someone who was not vaccinated and carrying the virus; possibly, when she returned to work in person.

No one seems to stop and wonder why the vaccines don’t protect the person vaccinated!
Not to mention since the virus has spread to other animals, like deer, even if everyone is vaccinated with these leaky vaccines, the virus will still circulate in deer, dogs, cats, whatever.
What is COPD? It is Emphysema. This lung disease causes destruction of the fragile walls and elastic fibers of the alveoli. COVID-19-Delta was the coup'd grace to her compromised lungs. The medicines she took for her hypertension (ACE inhibitors) suppressed her immune system and the COVID-19-Delta overcame her weakened immune system even though it was primed by the vaccine.
You did not read the article: “Tracy also had underlying health conditions including pulmonary hypertension and COPD.”
Her vaccination did not wear off. She was taking ACE inhibitors for her hypertension (high blood pressure) and had COPD, which is another word for Emphysema. I connected the dots in my Post #14.
The link you gave was published in January of 2021. The work that went into writing it was prior to the roll out of the Pfyzer vaccine, December 2020. It deals with natural immunity in language that is highly technical and something not easily understood by the novice reader. I learned today on Fox that immunity from the vaccine is stronger than natural immunity. The discussion I heard said that those with natural immunity would benefit from a vaccine. I just have not time to investigate that statement. With COVID, time is a thing we don’t have.
