I don’t think you sounded as if you were trying to discredit Jones.
I think you simply pointed out some have heard what he is talking about before.
But I think you are right that this video might be a good one for people who haven’t heard it before or who need a refresher.

(DH was living in SF in when the Loma Prieta EQ happened. People WERE crapping in the streets, in the park all over, filling their bathtubs with crap, etc. It was horrible. There are very easy ways to make composting toilets. Living in apartments in a city would make it harder but it could be done. What to speak of trench latrines. Due to various times of off grid living, I have a lot of experience in this science.

Importing food is never as good as growing for the citizens’ own use, and then extra stuff for export. Just the most sane way. BTW I looked up artemesia a bit and need to do more, but there are quite a few varieties and not all the same. Wormwood is one variety and it is pretty intense, not for long term use, and mainly for getting rid of parasites. I wonder if that is the one for covid. Since Ivermectin works for covid and is a parasiticide, may be.

Yes, countries should grow a lot of their own food. Every country has the land to grow certain kinds of crops well, but not others.
But if poorer countries could specialize in growing medicinal herbs that grow particularly well in their countries, they can make money to buy some sort of nutritional foods that don’t grow particularly well in their climate or soil.
