That doesn’t mean they complied with the law.

When it comes to allocating a state's electors in a presidential election, the legislature IS the law. It is absolutely NOT the U.S. Supreme Court's business to enforce state law.

You just said that “the legislature” has the authority to commit fraud. Power equals authority?

And for a general election that elects the members of the federal government, particularly the President, once the certificates (and “certificates”) end up at the federal government, that puts it in the federal government’s lap.

Do yourself a favor and look up “Bleeding Kansas”.
