I can’t fully explain why they dismissed harmless treatments that show efficacy with cheap and well-understood drugs such as HCQ or Ivermectin.
As I said above, I suspect part of the motive is $$$$. This vaccine business is very lucrative.
Many have said they could not have gotten an EUA for the vaccines (and the $$$$) if there was an effective treatment. I don’t buy that. Trump would have done both with the swipe of a pen.
The idea of mRNA vaccines has been a Holy Grail in the vaccine world for a long time. Tens of millions have been spent on these and they could be a game changer in theory. There is a big push for this and its a push supported by mega-money. This seems to be supported somewhat by the lack of interest or support for the J&J vaccine based on traditional technology of dead virus.
Then there was the politics. It is undeniable by all but the most partisan hacks that the virus became the democrat platform (and easier path to find votes) against Trump. The media went all in on this with non-stop doom and gloom that was the fault of the “bad orange man.”
I don’t “support” much of anything and thought that was rather clear in what I wrote. I have some strong opinions as do you, but there is much more that remains rather murky about the whole thing.
For the record I was all about trying HCQ a year ago. We had nothing to lose and I thought there was good anecdotal evidence that it showed some effectiveness. I felt the same about Ivermectin. From what I have gathered the one person who was most against it all was Fauci and that is who the media took their cue from with their dishonest lies (including the woman who murdered her husband by OD’ing him).
There was no lie the media would not investigate or repeat that made “orange man bad.”
It’s a mess. I have my opinions and guesses and you have yours. I support your right to agree or disagree and wish you luck in deciphering this mess.
With the treatments they have, and are about to have, vaccines are not important for this bioweapon.

I can’t say I disagree with much you had to say, but with all of that, you still hold on to the idea that the jabs/vaccines are good for some folks. Not your wife or kids though.
What is it going to take to convince you that that COVID Jabs/vaccines are ALL DANGEROUS and unneeded.

The risks of the jabs/vaccines are not worth it. There is no PROVEN benefit! Yet TONS of evidence against them.
Can you “PROVE” that anyone getting the jab/vaccine would have gotten COVID (let alone DIE from it) if they never got vaccinated?
OF COURSE NOT! You cannot prove a negative.
A lot of dead/sick people can prove they should have never gotten the jab/vaccine.
Not to mention, health problems and unforeseen side effects from “warp speed” jabs/vaccines.
I don’t know why you can’t admit it to yourself. Peer pressure?
You are obviously intelligent enough and have most of the facts. You make the right conclusions, yet you still defend the jab/vaccine as viable for some.
IT’S NOT! They are unnecessary risks for EVERYONE!
