***The Boy Scouts of America reached an $850 million settlement with attorneys***

Of which the victims will receive about $14.67 each - more than that, the Left forced the scouts to accept deviants as scout masters and now they force them in to bankruptcy. As I posted to you above, Marxists destabilise then step in and correct with an iron fist - yet to happen.

I leave it to your imagination where most of that $850 million will end up.

Yes. The left killed the Boy Scouts because it did so much good. Yes, there were bad leaders. Just like any large organization involving the vulnerable. But overall the Boy Scouts did a lot of good. My grandather (a former reverend) was a troop leader back in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. I have his books, I gave my son his B.S. large knife and I have his B.S. pocket knife. I have quite a collection of knives and swords.

Re: The Boy Scout suit thing - a few random thoughts in my head. One, I wonder how many “victims” are actually victims. Consider the Duke LaCross team episode. Sometimes, people lie for personal gain at someone else’s expense.

Second - class action suits seem to always favor the legal teams and seldom the plaintiff. My friend works in a small vehicle lemon law office. She works on individual litigations for situations when the vehicle manufacturer doesn’t bring relief for a specific situation where relief is due (or at least arguably due). When a big law firm takes on a class action, her potential clients are pulled into the class action suit through no action of their own (must opt out) and are seldom given true compensation for the repair of their defective vehicle.

An example of a class action suit - say brand XYZ’s low-end compact car has a transmission defect whereby the car, while in “drive”, tends to roll backwards or not engage in drive as would be expected. An individual could use the state’s lemon law to get retribution, whether it’s a repair or a replacement of the transmission with an updated version that doesn’t have that problem. Enter the “class action” - the person is automatically drawn into the class action suit and loses all rights to litigate on there own, and probably doesn’t even know this. As for retribution, they might get a $100 coupon for their next service or a new vehicle. Total scam IMHO.
