Saturn is, indeed, a spectacularly weird place! The south pole has auroras and the north pole has this bizarre hexagon, with a rotating center:

...and that looks like one, small aurora at ~8:55 in the first frame of the animated GIF...

APOD doesn't seem to have the animated hexagon, but
APOD for 2009 December 14 has the first full-on image of it -- in B&W:

Looks somewhat ominous, to me, but the hexagonal wall shows a bizarrely intricate, twisted, rope-like structure at these wavelengths...
