a. What's Rosenberg day.

b. I'm about ready to fall out my chair like Miss blu likes to do, but I just can't resist responding to this one. Your post is full of truth. So I'll tell you what I believe to be true.

Yes. I understand how the European 'myths' of vampires came to be and came to evolve into our modern way of thinking of Vampires.

I also know that the true 'vampires' would of course stoke (see what I did there?) the true stories into myth status. Its how they do, to this day.

I believe there have always been certain 'people' that have practiced 'the dark arts', worshiped satan, and dealt in the occult. Sacrificing humans, virgins, and children was (and is) a part of their drama.

This has been and is a requirement for membership into their 'club' and their path to riches, fame, and power within this world.

Its like as if they met the devil at the crossroads and sold their soul in exchange for guitar skills. Another very symbolic story based in reality.

I believe that many of the top derps actually believe in this stuff. Like its their religion. I believe that some of the derps go through the motions, carry out the acts, and act as if they believe it. But do they for real? And does it even matter whether they actually believe it or not?

Either way, they do the deeds, and that's what's important

On that note, I believe that most weird stories have a base in truth. I believe the derps (an all-encompassing term for these people for the sake of brevity) very often feed these truths until they grow up into stories like Vampires, which of course are ridiculous.

Here's what else I believe. I believe that calling them 'vampires' is the horse that's left the barn. Yes, I agree with all you've said and do believe these monsters perform their ritualistic monstrosities for the reasons listed above.

But, rather than doing as they would have us do and calling them Vampires, thereby going straight into auto-kook territory and being laughed out of the room, call them what they are. They have ruined Vampires in that regard, and purposefully so.

They are not undead, but they are still monsters. They cannot turn into bats, or wolves, or black crows. They can see their visage in a mirror. They can even abide the sun, though I expect they worship the night and the darkness holds special meaning to them. DARK TO LIGHT.

If there are monsters on this earth, [they] are them.

That is what I believe.

And that is why I say, "Vampires? C'mon, man".

Okay. And now I must adjourn to rest. The dawn approaches.

Hahahaha. That last line was funny, neh?

Good talk. Good night, goodman.

Actually you are wrong. The dark arts are real, spirits can morf and take any form. There is the fake and there is the real. I have personally witnessed it. God warned us not to mess with it for a very good reason!
