What's actually happening (and has been for a long time) is that our society refuses to get tough on crime and criminals. In particular, the segment of society that individual is a part of is pretty much allowed to do whatever they please. Nearly all their behavior is excused as the fault of "white privilege" and "racism."
The neighborhood seemed to have a lot of nice, employed, decent black people. I don’t think anyone but the stupid perp would throw a baby. Poor little kid. I hope it wasn’t too traumatized.
