I have said this before. He should use his Hispanic heritage to run against someone like Silvia Garcia. Offer the Hispanics in Houston a Hispanic option. Is he a RINO, probably, but he’d be a step up from Garcia.
But do Latinos think he's really Latino? It's the same with Black candidates who get out of the hood or were never in it: they don't resonate with people who are still there.
