Asheville had been a great place to visit for years. Great scenery and restaurants. My kids used to dance up there at Shindig on the Green for 7-8 years. You could see the place go downhill over time. The hippies moved in and took over downtown. The “woke” crowd got elected and enjoy destroying the place from within as well.
My daughter moved there a couple of weeks ago due to a job offer. Says it’s pretty, but way too weird for her.
