Texas Republican state legislators on Saturday unveiled a sweeping voting restrictions bill amid efforts by Republican-led states to overhaul election laws in the wake of former President Trump's electoral loss.
The bill, S.B. 7, includes several controversial provisions that critics say would disproportionately affect poor and minority voters. It also specifically targets voting practices employed this past year in Harris County, which includes Houston, by banning drive-through voting and 24-hour voting. Those practices were used by 140,000 voters in 2020.
S.B. 7 makes it a state jail felony for local officials to attempt to send mail-in ballot applications to voters who did not request them,

Asking a voter to identify himself before voting is not an assault on the Constitution as Biden and the democrats say. They object to such laws only because it prohibits them cheating which is the only way they can win these days.

On the campaign trail it was always “Vice President whatever this guys name is”. I remember Dana Perino reporting, stuttering, saying VP Biden and President Trump and saying, “it’s so confusing, Vice President, President” I’m sure she meant she wanted Trump to stop being ‘President Trump’
No one said former Vice President Biden. If they had and if they didn’t hate they might not have LOST 50% to CNN’s 70% ratings. Well someone’s paying them but it is not the audience

“...voting RESTRICTIONS bill...”? More like vote security measures. Doing the same in NV. I keep contacting my NV state “reps” but the bill moves forward and our session ends soon. The demonazis are SOOOO proud of their efforts last Nov that they are pusing to make the mailed out unsolicited ballots the norm. Still think the best wasy is one county, one vote. They probably wouldn’t entertain that idea.
