People who are treated and no longer acting as viral factories don't make other people sick.

Sounds plausible except for two things:

Covid victims are most contagious for a few days before and after the onset of symptoms. By the time Covid symptoms first appear and the testing is done to confirm the disease most of the spreading has already occurred.

Also, it assumes diagnosed Covid victims continue to circulate and spread the disease when even in family situations everyone knows enough to quarantine to the extent possible.

I understand there's an argument that Ivermectin is effective as a prophylactic but the article was directly implying the early treatment protocol caused the big reduction in cases.

Never mind that was hearing for months, before the surge, that the reason India wasn't having a big Covid problem was the regular use of Ivermectin and HCQ there.

So really there was no point in quarantining the sick, since, once they realized they were sick, they weren't able to transmit.

I don’t believe the asymptomatic spread narrative. The entire plandemic rests on it. The scam is illustrated by the PCR cycle debacle, where vaxxed ppl are now being tested under 30 cycles, while the unvaxxed are tested at 40 or more cycles. Dr Peter McCullough, MD, a real expert, testified as to the scam of asymptomatic transmission.

“Covid victims are most contagious for a few days before and after the onset of symptoms. By the time Covid symptoms first appear and the testing is done to confirm the disease most of the spreading has already occurred.”

Of course, you just made all of that up without citing a single actual instance of medical research or medical paper ...

OTOH,

For example, this from medscape.com ( https://www.medscape.com/answers/2500114-197467/what-is-the-duration-of-viral-shedding-in-persons-with-coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19 ):

“The duration of viral shedding varies significantly and may depend on severity. Among 137 survivors of COVID-19, viral shedding based on testing of oropharyngeal samples ranged from 8-37 days, with a median of 20 days. [38] A different study found that repeated viral RNA tests using nasopharyngeal swabs were negative in 90% of cases among 21 patients with mild illness, whereas results were positive for longer durations in patients with severe COVID-19. [39] In an evaluation of patients recovering from severe COVID-19, Zhou and colleagues found a median shedding duration of 31 days (range, 18-48 days)”

Thus, if one can be cured with therapeutics like ivermectin and/OR HCQ taken at the first sign of covid, then severe covid can be prevented and viral shedding can be reduced to under a week instead of as much as 48 days. THEREBY, reducing the infective period by a factor of seven ...
