He was a child for heaven’s sake. A child who lost his mother while very young, a child whose father carried on throughout his marriage with another woman. A child who grew up in a very strange unnatural sort of life — a fishbowl, a gilded cage. It is not surprising that this poor kid grew up to be a troubled young man.
There also may an organic facyor also....pht them all together and someone is gonna have issues.
He was thirteen. He is now almost forty. He has been in and and out of therapy, not to mention drugs and alcohol. He still blames everyone for his problems. When you have a problem you grab hold of it and own it. You master it.
Otherwise you go through life willy-nilly, never facing and conquering your problems.
Once you accept responsibility for yourself, then and only then, you can make the changes you wish to make. No one is responsible for you except you.
Grow up.
William seems to have managed to deal with it. A million other kids, including myself, have as well.
