Reminds me of an old advertisement I saw online recently.
Shows a cheerful gal at the stove: “Now she can cook breakfast again when you prescribe new Mornidine.”
A brand of the drug Thalidomide. Used in the late 50’s to early 60’s to treat morning sickness during pregnancy. Banned in the 60’s due to it causing limb deformities and other problems in the babies.
