I wonder if and by how much the Temptations going into psychedelic rock influenced young blacks to experiment with mind altering drugs. Could it have been a factor in the deterioration of American black societal structure.

They called it psychedelic soul, but I don't remember any of the songs promoting, or even referring to drugs.
