I like those because I can still see the person’s face and their smiles. I have one and would have agreeably worn that but they’re unacceptable on a plane on their own. The announcements said we could wear one, but we must still wear a mask underneath it. I typically shop later in the evening 45 minutes before the stores close but if I have to go in prime time, I sometimes don the shield to avoid confrontations. They’re not as bad as masks for a few reasons.

Good news, from text conversation with grand daughter - she and my 4 great grand children will not be getting any Vax - due to not enough info/studies.
The rest of the immediate family ... not so sure. They are contrary, and if I mention it, they are likely to just argue and do it cause they are in charge—found out long ago it’s best to stay quiet and let them figure it out. 😊

We met him. My son was doing his karate program. My son started when he was 10 and stopped at 20? He became a 2nd degree black belt.
The program was amazing and Chuck’s, since I met him I’m on a first name basis with him hahahahahha, personal philosophy and all around niceness, filtered down to each karate school.
We went to a karate seminar ?, conference ? in Las Vegas, in July.. oh the weekend JFK,jr was killed, was the year we went.
