A new analysis has found that Donald Trump actually did better among Latinos in 2020 than previously thought, meaning his ‘America First’ appeal to all voters and all demographics is a roadmap for future GOP presidential and congressional candidates if they want to continue making progress in widening the Republican Party tent.
According to exit polling, Latinos went for Biden by a 2-to-1 margin, but Trump’s garnering of one-third of them marked an increase from 2016 — and this for a presidential candidate with a demonstrated ‘tough on illegal immigration’ record.

I used a neem preparation in a spray to try and ward off a certain pest bug from my trees and plants. It didn’t work, though, as the pesky bugs are too pervasive. :(
Thank you, lj. It’s nice to be back after a brief hiatus, which followed many months of intense emotions about the past year’s events. Every golf ball I hit had some imaginary derp’s face on it and I attribute that to my mostly good ball striking.
I’m inspired today by some evidence of the awakening of Canadians, and re-inspired by the optimism and intelligence of the people here who’ve been so far ahead of the curve for so long. You, personally, offer us so much in the way of beauty and analysis. What a beautiful Easter Sunday!
I was forced to wear a mask on the planes under threat of being placed on a no-fly list, but I was only minimally cooperative. I won’t go into details since I hope to fly again in a couple of months 😉.

We were just over at their place to drop off some Easter gifts. It was snowing and cold and she wouldn’t even let us, senior citizens, into the front hallway to get into the warm.
