The jury in DC and many liberal areas will be largely liberals. But, all it takes is one conservative holdout to force the persecution to either give up or go for another trial. This will still bankrupt the defendant.
It would be impossible to get a fair trial in DC. These patriots are political prisoners, pure and simple. It doesn’t seem that they can get quality lawyers for the defense as many law firms are afraid of the consequences.
