Masks and social distancing are both methods of preventing injury from disease. Traffic lights and airbags are both methods of preventing injury from traffic accidents. The analogy is fine; you just don't like that it exposes how ridiculous this talking point really is.

The vaccines have gone through full Phase 1, Phase 2, and Phase 3 clinical trials. President Trump has stated multiple times that they are well tested, passed the "gold standard" of safety testing, and have not been rushed. It was Pelosi, Cuomo, and Newsom (among others) claiming otherwise in October when they were worried the FDA would authorize vaccines for use before the election. Nothing was rushed; all normal testing was done using one of the four available accelerated tracks which have been in place at the FDA for decades.

Actually, no. It's a legal term and the anti-vaxxer suits that threatened to cut off the US supply of DPT vaccine in the 1980s were determined to be nuisance suits by United States courts 35+ years ago. Every single claim was eventually thrown out, but the process costs so much money that the vaccine makers were being run out of business.

This is the same tactic used by left-wing anti-gun nuts trying to sue gun makers out of business and it led to The Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act to shield gun makers from those same kinds of nuisance suits.

Link to a single case of a death in the United States or the UK that has been fully investigated and determined to have been caused by a COVID-19 vaccine. Link to one. Just one. You can't. Because it doesn't exist.
