“Yeah, and those crosseyed slanteyed yellow monkeys the Japs could and would NEVER attack Pearl Harbour.”

Non sequitur.

If it’s your contention that China would attack US bases, don’t you also believe the result would be massive retaliation?

Do you believe that China believes they could win an all out war with the US? Do YOU believe they could?

All scenarios in the war games never include the US striking mainland China, but they almost all include China striking US bases west of Pearl Harbor.

China could not survive an all out war with the US Pacific Fleet AND the US Air Force at the same time. And if they want to go nuke, they lose worse.

Why have a shooting war ? It ruins your markets & resource deliveries !

With the Biden administration we are a vassal state to China. It's not just Biden look at their influence in Congress and in many of our high tech industries and academia. Historically China sees international relations in terms of hegemony. Meaning they're charge we acknowledge the subordinate relationship. That doesn't mean physical occupation WWII style. The Middle Kingdom doesn't like too much intimacy with the smelly barbarians. (Unless its your assignment like it was for Bang Bang or was it Fang Fang.) It's a form of vassalage. We give them markets & resources nowadays that means primarily technical IP. Deals cut with them are 60/40 if they're feeling generous or 80/20 if they're not.

They view this as payback for the "300 years of humiliation" by the West (We get no special consideration for not being a European colonial power. We look like the Brits, French or Germans !). You can find that speech by a CCP official on the Internet plus I think Amazon has a book on it.
