Close the Strait of Malacca and all China’s oil imports, which is over 75% of total, are at risk.
The US Navy could do that alone, easily.
As for Taiwan, an invasion...even without outside intervention...is more than China’s limited power projection capability and expertise is able to pull off without unacceptable losses.
Losses severe enough to put the remainder of their forces at serious risk should other nations intervene. The JMSDF could, alone, present substantial risk to the PLAN as forces concentrate around Taiwan.
Throw in US Air Power and China is humiliated. Set back 50 years.
Also every Chinese soldier, sailor and airman is an only child. China could be looking at a real revolution because every group would be affected.
Any move against China will have to be indapendantly done (like bombing Syria) by the military. Biden will not move against China. He IS China.
Is someone other than Biden/Harris/Derp directing our military?
If so, who?

Yeah, and those crosseyed slanteyed yellow monkeys the Japs could and would NEVER attack Pearl Harbour.
Update your paradigm, old timer.
Good God man, check yourself! You are exactly explaining why aircraft pose no threat to modern battleships on the open ocean.
And believe me, I wish you were right, and I were wrong.
China has 700 ships. They’ve been building like crazy and still are. There is no unacceptable losses to a country with that capability and 1.4 billion people.
