This is why it takes them seconds to attack and far longer for me to research and respond with an answer. This, FRens, seems to serve a variety of info war purposes, one of which is to absorb your time/energy on one person/one thread so you don’t move forth spreading truth elsewhere on more threads to more people. :)

I say don’t bother. Post and go on. That discourages them and they can argue with the followers...
Most of the time, I'd agree. But until the truth about an issue is commonly known, I believe it's necessary to help the truth break through the blockade in the first place.
But the same trolls slinging the same 'mud' is a waste of response unless it serves my strategic purposes. Lately, when I grow weary of content-free troll attacks, I've been posting something like this:
https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3943889/posts?page=52#52 on 3/25/2021
The date indicates when I first concluded that their capacity for discourse does not improve with increased familiarity. Keeping the names, dates helps remind me who is/is not worth responding to. otherwise I forget who's who. https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3943889/posts?page=52#52 I just threw it together one day and it does need editing, but copying and pasting the link takes the same 5 seconds the troll took to compose an insult/attack.
Agreed. Limit exposure to toxicity. Toxicity is just another form of evil. Evil seeks to destroy anything and anyone that isn't of its kind.
