What Trump is doing is mopping up the final pockets of resistance.
As always, there’s a lesson from World War One.
The war began as a 19th century war.
Both sides advanced in “skirmish lines,” meeting in the middle.
But the firepower was so immense that this was two costly.
So they dug trenches, and THEN they discovered that if they built strongpoints—bunkers and concrete pillboxes and machine-gun nests—the enemy couldn’t attack.
They put up belts of barbed wire, adding to the defenses.
The Germans came up with the ideal solution:
Small, heavily armed assault specialists led attacks, followed by waves of conventional infantry.
New weapons to destroy barbed wire were invented.
The attack required that the assault specialists BYPASS the front-line strong points and advance to the enemy’s rear positions as quickly and VIOLENTLY as they could.
Following the assault teams were “mopping up” specialists.
They dealt with strong points using flamethrowers, explosives, grenade launchers, and light machine guns.
Then the “consolidating waves” strengthened all the positions taken.
The assault specialists were known as “shock troops.”
This term was coined by the commander of the German flamethrower regiment.
Trump and his shock troops have bypassed the strong points, and the mopping-up troops are doing THEIR job.
When the consolidating troops make sure that the process is done, THEN we’ll see the mother of all reveals.
The people who voted for Biden did so only out of an irrational hatred of Trump.
Everyone who supports the current madness had to be forced to live under the rules they claimed they wanted.
Shock troops shake up everything almost to the point of destruction.

Specifically, I mean those who voted for Trump, who know the election was stolen egregiously, who were upset about it initially, but who are now resigned to living with it, to being the good little underdogs they always were before Trump ever came along in the first place.
It seems more and more people are “reverting”, as I refer to it. They don’t want to upset the applecart, and I’ve heard more than one actually say that it would be BAD “for national unity and stability”, or some such rot, if Trump were to come back. To his lawfully elected Presidency!
I truly don’t get some people! But they’re out there. And I hope I’m wrong, but they appear to be growing in number.
I don’t know what it will take to wake these people up a second time. But it will have to be much bigger than a two-by-four upside the head, I’m afraid!
