Again - just like we are already seeing with the “green” energy push that relies so much on advanced batteries. whether for vehicles or for energy storage - it appears cold fusion advancements are heading to be dependent on rare earth metals/minerals. And, cold fusion might even be competing not just with the battery industry but others using rare earth metals - such as in computers and other telecom applications. That may make going from theory to practical reality a problem of economics as much as engineering. Then again, a single cold fusion chamber may cost less and have greater economic return than other applications that the same materials were used for.
