Anyone who DOES NOT think we’re heading straight into Communism needs to have their heads examined, at this point.
The only questions remaining is just how far our destruction will go and whether we’ll have the type of bloodbath often (but not always) associated with Communism.

Average Americans have become very passive and are afraid to even say anything that is remotely offensive to the Left. Until that changes nothing will change. We have to stand up and make the Left respect and fear us. Right now they don’t.
It would be helpful if the GOP would take the lead on this and start fighting the Left, but they won’t. They appease and enable them. They are cowards.

This is certainly true in the formerly free state of California under Uncle Gavin and his democrat/communist politburo of unelected bureaucrats including his new state health director, Senor Tomas Aragon (even if I knew how I wouldn’t add the mexican punctuation marks Senor Aragon insists on applying to his moniker.)
What shall appear would not be a pure form of Communism, but more on the Chinese Communist version.
Chinese Communism is much more on the order of the National Socialism of the Third Reich, in which FORMS of a parliament and an “elected” head of government exist along with a judiciary totally subservient to both. The existence of stock exchanges and the appearance of capitalism will still be there, but the central government will eventually become majority stockholder in almost all corporations, and the communications will all follow certain prescribed limitations on what can and what cannot be reported, with the reports finagled to put the overall picture in the most favorable light possible.
China would not have to enter the United States at all, as their surrogates shall already be here. Any trade policies that make China at the least disadvantage will be scrapped altogether, and the flow of information will be a most uneven exchange, with small petty things being the only things easily exchanged. The big stuff, the real research, will continue to be on separate tracks between the former United States of America and the Chinese Communist hegemony, and there will continue to be tensions far into the future, as the two entities struggle to gain or hold supremacy.
All without actual engagement of the uniformed military services at all. That does not mean there would not be considerable bloodshed, but it will be from domestic strife, not foreign encounters.
It really pi$$es me off to watch the few TV commentators who even talk about events dance around the word COMMUNISM.

That’s what the people who sat out the Georgia runoffs don’t seem to understand:
“Oh, you won’t turn over your guns, don’t worry we won’t send the jack-booted thugs to your place. Instead, we’ll empty your bank accounts, put your biometrics in ‘the system’ (so once a camera identifies you in public, you’re arrested), and of course we’ll seize, or put liens on, all the property you own. No need for Janet Reno type mass raids.”
As was pointed out here, you’ll start getting letters first, as you cower-down and hope they won’t come for you, but they almost certainly will, as it’s very, very, likely that they’ll have electronic breadcrumbs to find you (social media posts, background checks, etc.), or others will point you out, possibly to get some of their assets back. That’s how the feds work.
Oh, and that ‘boating accident’. Well, you’ll have two choices: (1) Show documentation that it actually happened, such as a police report or insurance claim from back then; or (2) consent to having your property searched now and whenever they want to in the future. Oh, you sold it, then fine, identify the recipient, if not, see (2), above.
And to think that 500,000 Republicans in Georgia may well have enabled all of this from our federal government by listening to Lin Wood (and ignoring Trump’s two trips there) and thinking they would ‘teach the GOP a lesson’ by sitting out the Senate runoffs there. Brilliant move, guys.

We are in the throes of a coup against the Constitution.
They have been working at overthrowing it for over 100 years. They are still a long way off from total victory, but they are looking now at implementing the “Final Solution to the Conservative Question”
Their only remaining task is to force disarming the public, and gain absolute control on the use of force.
You can see the racism canard, being used to broaden the use of violence on whites. Whiteness, etc. is the new “Jew”, which conveniently includes genuine Jews.
They are angling to implement a new version of the Nuremberg Laws.
