to be honest, the initial reaction on this thread was also one of discouragement on why Durham would quit.....I actually was reading on another FR thread so I knew that he merely resigned his US attorney job, not the special prosecutors job...

We had the truth of it right here within an hour and a half or so of it being reported. Sooner, if you consider that we discussed this many many days ago when the NYT article came out.

And it would NOT surprise me to learn that you were on a thread where
one of US reported the facts to our FRiends beyond the trees, like I was

Yeah, my other half had one of his “The sky is falling!” moments over that. I explained to him that Durham still had his special prosecutors position. His reaction was “Well, when is something going to come of that? NEVER!”
