There is a T.Jefferson site that has all the archives of his writings, and maybe contemporaneous quotes, on which one can search a quote to see if it is authentic. I’ve used that a lot.
I agree. They should be honest. That’s why they should develop a site where they can post their C.S. Lewis Screwtape-esque stuff in homage to him and invite comments and discussion and educate people about their inspiration.
