It worked!
No, just kidding. The close, then reopen page trick worked - but it had to be re-opened from my ping page! I had tried several times to reopen it from the New Thread link in Festival - maybe that's where the problem originated? (shrug)
Anyway, I'm back! Thanks for everyone's suggestions!
