I grew up listening to you in the 1990s. My parents were avid listeners. They adored you & Neal Boots & Sean Hannity. When I was picked up from school his show was on. When I went out to my parents workshed, his voice was blaring from inside. I silent a great deal of time with my parents listening to his show. He was never a doom & gloomer- he was a happy warrior. He just like my parents, influenced my conservative beliefs. God bless you Rush. Heaven gained another conservative angel! You will be greatly missed! ❤😘😘
Meant to say Neal Boortz
Rest in peace Rush. You will always be “one of a kind”. The world is better place because of you, and a sadder one now that you have left us for a better place.
I anticipate the posthumous sexual abuse allegations to start soon.
I missed Katherine’s opening monolog on his show. Does anyone know where I can find it?
Hopefully, this thread won’t be disappeared into the vanity void too, but, there is something that needs to be done, even if the opposition is in control now.
Rush is one of the greatest American heroes, and probably best known in radioland and in conservative circles.
But, if Biden has any kind of decency left in his body...
He should have the American flag flown at half-staff in all federal buildings and sites, especially at the White House and the capitol.
Rush Limbaugh, a talk radio pioneer who saturated America’s airwaves with cruel bigotries, lies and conspiracy theories for over three decades . . .
I expected to feel sad at the loss of Rush. I didn’t expect to feel this devastated. He was a big part of my day.
I don’t know if it’s in full.
We have to find a way to keep our heads up and continue the fight. Rush would want us to to that and has educated us for many years.
As soon as I heard that Kathryn was going to speak I knew what had happened....
I plan my entire day around listening and often it’s the only thing I listen to.
Losing Rush hasn’t sunk in yet. Whenever the next ‘whatever’ occurs, and I eagerly tune-in to hear his take on it...well, no more. Sad, sad, sad. RIP
Cigars .
If not for those,Rush would most likely still be proudly proclaiming conservative values and educating listeners.
Go to Rushlimbaugh.com his web site.
He’s been my guest for lunch as far back as I can remember.
I understand. I keep tearing up. A big man just being himself. I’ve said before on other threads my first reaction to him -———
“””””I will NEVER forget the first time I heard Rush when he came on the radio for the first time. He said he wouldn’t be having guests to interview. I just looked at the radio and said -— “How are you going to do that buddy??” All the radio political and current event personalities couldn’t broadcast without interviews. Well —— it didn’t take long to see that he didn’t need them. He had such a handle on everything that all he need to do was talk. I was caught up with him.
“””””
We were about as far into the first Obama administration as we are into the Biden regime, and the world was a dark and lonely and pessimistic place - Rush gave a speech - I don’t remember where or even what he said, but suddenly, for a little bit, there was hope and optimism and expectation that things would get better, that we could make it through - thanks Rush RIP........
😢😘☮✝
Okay, stop right there.
