The number of betrayers in Senate was 57, not 7.

Although oddly enough the broken clock of John Roberts decided to not show up and say it was all unconstitutional.

I don’t expect the Democrats to be loyal Americans.

Isn’t it amazing Democrats never break rank? They vote as one monolithic block.

-- Possible, perhaps likely, a few of the 43 were just positioning to appear to be wearing a white hat. --

I'd say it's certain, and point to Mitch McConnell as example #1.

Many others. The senate might have ONE good person in it, but I doubt it.

-- The thing that really brings me down is that the respect that I had for congress, the media, the FBI/CIA/CDC/most of the pseudo-academic departments in our joke universities, etc. etc is gone. --

As it should be!

More and more people are coming to that point of view. I fell into it in the late 1970's. There are a handful of exceptions, Reagan comes to mind, but otherwise it is all rot and baloney.

I got my law degree in 1998 (second career), and by reading the cases cited, realized that courts are not to be trusted either. There is no rule of law, really. It's all dark.

When the God fearing founders of this nation came up with the Republican vs democratic form of governmental representation. They considered that groups we call political partys once elected to a given political office. Could place their groups control and interest above the common good and benefit of the nation once elected to a legislative, executive or judicial office. But would work together for the common interest and that would happen by taking the oath of office.

In an era when a man’s word was considered sacred They truly believed that upon election. requiring taking the oath of office which swears loyalty to abide and support the constitution would take precedence and avert any fractious direction super ceding any political position taken by the group that the office holder associated with before entering .It took the democrat convention of 2012 when they attempted to remove any reference to God, “Our Creator,” to clearly demonstrate that belief no longer applied and when one takes that oath today it means nothing.

Every senator that voted on January 6 to accept the fraud is a traitor. That’s 92 traitors and 7 Americans.

Sinema and Manchin talk a good game but when it comes down to brass tacks, they stick with their fellow RATS.

Then you think just like them.

Jesus didn’t die just for conservatives. But it’s their choice.

That includes my two Senators: Angry Ben Cardin and Chris “smarmy” van Hollen.

Two huge pieces of excrement floating down the Potomac.

93 is the actual number.

Everything the senate has done after Jan 6 is moot.

The problem is that the propaganda machine out there wants us to think more about the 50 Democrats so as to exonerate the seven Republicans through a raging anger against the Democrats.

The fricking “Conservative Movement” has been a front for sucking us into conclusions that we must vote politically correct liberal Republican like Bush and Romney, now Nikki Haley because the Democrats are super wicked and evil.

God says:

“all have sinned”

as I see it.

And there must be consequences for the fake patriots, fake conservatives of the GOP.

Governors who became tyrants like Mike DeWine over the coronavirus deserve no quarter.

And then the senators who stabbed Trump in the back ala Brutus.

Some not facing the voters again but others do not deserve re-election even if third party or write-ins lead to a Democrat win in a General Election.

If people like Liz Cheney cannot be removed by a primary electoral process, then let the General Election do the trick.

If the process in Wyoming is rigged to keep her in Congress in 2022 with multiple primary opponents as an example perhaps its time to get out of the GOP and find something better to do.

It’s an excellent point that you make.

The Dem Senators are uniform in undermining the Constitution. Lockstep. That whole Party is fundamentally flawed.
