Yes...USA pays for COVID deaths so we will get Covid deaths. If we pay for deaths due to the common cold then within a year the common cold will be the worlds biggest killer.
This again would require that deaths in other categories go down (they haven’t) and that overall deaths remain constant (they haven’t).
Instead, deaths in other categories have been at or slightly above normal levels and overall deaths are ~400,000 higher in 2020 than in 2019 (~14% jump where ~0.3-0.7% are normal)
